Forest green yurt cover – this was bought when we replaced the outer cover, and was made in the UK by Spirits Intent to withstand British climate

18oz heavy duty polycotton - FWR (flame, water and rot-proofed)

You’ll see in one photo that there is a window space, our old cover had roll up window cut into it but we went for a solid cover when we replaced it

Felt insulation, warm in winter and cool in summertime, with silk liner

Lattice walls of the yurt can be used to hang lights, tools, clothing, or other small thing

Base waterproof ground sheet, followed by a base layer and then a wool carpet

Wall skirt in green PVC, meaning nothing to degrade is in contact with the floor

Transparent star cap

The ropes that secure the roof crown could do with being changed, easy to do with para cord - happy to replace for you if this is preference

Door opens outwards, we made this second door for the yurt, in one piece, while functional it would benefit from some care and strengthening, or a replacement door

Recommendation to proof the yurt cover annually, we use Renovo ultra proofer, it has a mildew inhibitor as well as the usual water proofing protection

We recently proofed the yurt, we bought the Renovo one which has a green pigment added, we didn’t get around to doing the roof, you can see the difference in the photos and how the roof will look again once treated – some proofer left which will be included

The yurt has no damp patches inside
* for transparency there are 4 poles at the bottom end that, while functional, have some damage due to water run in before moving the yurt to it's current position. These are the only poles that were affected (see photo) the other photo shows the good condition that all the others are in

For us this is a reluctant sale but it is no longer used in the way it was and is currently just storing a few boxes, we’d love it to become a cosy hub with another family

It can be seen in situ, happy to then help with the dismantling, or if collecting at a date following viewing we’re happy to dismantle and ready it for collection. If buying without seeing, we’re happy to pack it down ready for collection.
